There was a talk this weekend at Netroots Nation that touched upon the need for MORE diversity in the comic world. While the panel centered on women in the media, it still provided great insight into how we can hold media makers accountable (hint: they read Twitter!) and they do mention other types of diversity (racial, lgbt, etc.).
