April 24th, 2012 - Heather McMeekan has been incredibly busy this month. She is one of the organizers behind Unite Women. The organization is planning events for April 28th in every state across the country. Unite Women is hosting these events in order to rally against the War on Women. Ms. McMeekan kindly agreed to answer a few questions and share information about this weekend’s event in Lincoln Park.
What is the War on Women?
The War on Women is the accumulative body of anti-woman legislation, policies, regulations, and rhetoric which dehumanizes, degrades, or fails to protect women.
